Dr. Aimee Oliver

I have had chronic headaches and neck pain since early childhood. I have been to 6 chiropractor’s in my life. Some gave me temporary relief of pain but they never took care of the underlying problem. In 2016, I learned about Dr. Oliver who is a Physical Therapist & a Chiropractor. I started going to see him and through his complete and thorough approach he is changing the curves in my spine. I rarely have a headache and only periodic neck pain when I haven’t done the exercises he taught me. I feel empowered that I can now do something to help myself! Recieving care from Dr. Oliver, who is both skilled and friendly, has been life changing for me. I write this review in hopes that others may find lasting relief for yourselves through Dr. Oliver’s complete approach.

Over a month ago, I was referred to Dr. Oliver by a friend. One thing I liked right away is that Dr. Oliver made me no promises but instead stated the possibilities based on past patient results. After the consultation X-rays were taken to determine the scope of my problem and the extent of my treatment. To date after 4 weeks of treatment I am no longer suffering from chronic low back pain and my quality of life has significantly increased. As I age, maintenance and stretching will continue to be necessary but I am so much better off avoiding surgery. Thank you Dr. O

BEST CHIRO / PHYSICAL THERAPIST I’ve ever been to!!! And I mean that! I have been seeing Chiropractors for over 40 years with neck and back issues. I had severe chronic pain in the right side of my neck that would be so debilitating I couldn’t even turn my head. I’d see a Chiro – get it adjusted only to have to return two days later for another “fix”.

Then I was referred to Dr. Oliver by my Primary Care Physician for IT Band pain (left hip down the leg). After the initial evaluation, he talked to me about the treatment and what to expect. After a few weeks of this treatment by him and his AMAZING staff of therapists, I was able to start lifting weights in the gym again and resume my regular strength training workouts!
I also talked to Dr. Oliver about my chronic neck pain and my frequent lower back pain. After completing a long questionnaire and x-rays, my treatment plan began. The treatment plan involved a nutritional consultation, a detox/cleanse and many new PT techniques to re-align my spine and straighten the very obvious curve in my neck. These exercises have also increased strength in my neck muscles and helped improve my posture significantly. The pain is now GONE!!! When I have a flare, it’s usually because of my diet and I have learned what to avoid.

I am now on a maintenance schedule with Dr. Oliver and his wonderful staff twice a month. I enjoy the happy and friendly atmosphere of his office and brag about him with everyone who needs Chiropractic care.

This place is wonderful! The staff are just amazing! They greet me by name every time I come in, and you can tell that they enjoy their jobs aren’t just there for a paycheck. They are very helpful and patient, and they genuinely smile when they work with you. Also, the place is really clean and welcoming. Dr. Oliver is great as well! He’s very knowledgeable and personable. He has a great bedside manner and worked with me to customize a treatment plan that was tailored to me and my issues. All in all, this is a great place, and I highly recommend them!

First visit for cronic, acute back pain. Dr. Oliver was able to determine the root cause of the pain which, I must say, other doctors I’ve seen hadn’t even attempted to find.

I have spondylolesthesis (a forward shifting of a vertebrae) which allows diminished mobility and flexibility because of the level of constant pain. Yes, the shift caused discs to rupture and touch a nerve. The nerve (being only the transmitting link to the brain for feeling) however, goes to something else telling the nerve what to feel.

That “something else” is the CAUSE of the pain. In my case, it is a specific muscle attached to the spine.

Thank You so much to Dr. Charlie Oliver & staff for getting me walking again. I appreciated the one on one time with Dr. Oliver to develop a plan specifically formulated to help my specific needs. I literally hobbled into his office two days ago in excruciating pain that I felt was going to affect my ability to continue to work as a massage therapist. After he took some X-rays and did an extensive physical evaluation and evaluated my X-rays he sat down and spoke candidly with me and devised a plan for me to get me back on track and on the road to recovery without surgery. He took me aside and provided me with a treatment that very same day because he couldn’t bear to see me hobble out of his door. He wasn’t looking for a way to mask my pain but, to find the source of my pain and correct it.

Let me just tell you about the best medical experience I have ever had. I went to Dr. Oliver for a specific problem after a failed attempt at chiropractic care in another office. He and his staff listened to me and offered me treatment plans to improve not only my back but my overall health. I didn’t know how bad I’d been feeling until I began to feel better! They take great lengths to offer personalized care and really get to know their patients. I would highly recommend this office, Dr. Oliver and his staff for any ailments you may be having.

Dr. Oliver and staff are absolutely amazing! Dr. Oliver walked me through my scans and described my treatment thoroughly, which made me feel at ease knowing I was in good hands (literally and figuratively). His staff is always so nice and welcoming. You can tell they truly love what they do and are so great to work with. If you need a good chiropractor, look no further.

Dr. Oliver and his staff are very professional and knowledgeable. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and helpful. I love my visits with him…it is stress free and very organized. So wonderful to see such a compassionate group of people taking care of patients who really need the help. I am in medicine and I can tell you your experience with this office will be a rare one in San Antonio. I definitely recommend this office for your chiropractic needs.
