Electrical Muscle Stimulation in San Antonio TX at Comprehensive Chiropractic & Physical Therapy

If I could give Dr. Charles Oliver and his staff more than 5 stars I definitely would! Dr. Oliver and his awesome staff are always welcoming, courteous and professional. I went to see Dr. Oliver for my poor posture, neck and back pain I’ve had for years. The treatment plan he has put in place for me has helped me tremendously. My pain has decreased and I can now sleep without pain.

Over a month ago, I was referred to Dr. Oliver by a friend. One thing I liked right away is that Dr. Oliver made me no promises but instead stated the possibilities based on past patient results. After the consultation X-rays were taken to determine the scope of my problem and the extent of my treatment. To date after 4 weeks of treatment I am no longer suffering from chronic low back pain and my quality of life has significantly increased. As I age, maintenance and stretching will continue to be necessary but I am so much better off avoiding surgery. Thank you Dr. O

First visit for cronic, acute back pain. Dr. Oliver was able to determine the root cause of the pain which, I must say, other doctors I’ve seen hadn’t even attempted to find.

I have spondylolesthesis (a forward shifting of a vertebrae) which allows diminished mobility and flexibility because of the level of constant pain. Yes, the shift caused discs to rupture and touch a nerve. The nerve (being only the transmitting link to the brain for feeling) however, goes to something else telling the nerve what to feel.

That “something else” is the CAUSE of the pain. In my case, it is a specific muscle attached to the spine.

I am so thankful to Dr. Oliver and his wonderful staff for the lifegiving care I have received at Comprehensive Chiropractic. I was referred to Dr. Oliver by my PC physician as she believed that issues with my neck were contributing to a host of problems including neck stiffness and immobility, problems with sinus drainage, headache, and difficulty sleeping. After a simple, but careful screening, Dr. Oliver helped me to set goals for my healing, and within a couple visits, I was already seeing results. It is very important to me to work with practitioners who can help me discover and treat the root causes of my dis-ease, and this is exactly what Dr. Oliver helped me to do. My headaches and sinus issues are gone, and my sleep has greatly improved which has been key to improving my health all around and regulating my nervous system. As an added bonus, careful and skilled adjustments made to my spine and my hips have eliminated my wrist, elbow and hip pain completely as well! I am continuing to work to improve the curvature of neck so that these issues do not return, and to ensure that my brain can effectively communicate with all the different systems in my body. I have received chiropractic care in the past, but no one has been as effective and efficient as Dr. Oliver. I really appreciate the compassion he has shown me. He is easy to talk to and a great listener! His staff are such kind, attentive and happy people! They ALL make Comprehensive Chiropractic the perfect place to find healing!

Let me just tell you about the best medical experience I have ever had. I went to Dr. Oliver for a specific problem after a failed attempt at chiropractic care in another office. He and his staff listened to me and offered me treatment plans to improve not only my back but my overall health. I didn’t know how bad I’d been feeling until I began to feel better! They take great lengths to offer personalized care and really get to know their patients. I would highly recommend this office, Dr. Oliver and his staff for any ailments you may be having.

Dr. Oliver is one of the top two doctors I have ever visited with. Today was my first visit at his clinic and all I can say is WOW!! The office and Dr. Oliver really take the time to explain everything to you and make sure to maintain communication amongst each other. Dr. Oliver is a very intelligent, compassionate, understanding, and yet a caring doctor. You can definitely tell his number one priority is to help you feel better. I have had chronic headaches and neck pain since early childhood. I have been to 6 chiropractor’s in my life. Some gave me temporary relief of pain but they never took care of the underlying problem. In 2016, I learned about Dr. Oliver who is a Physical Therapist & a Chiropractor. I started going to see him and through his complete and thorough approach he is changing the curves in my spine. I rarely have a headache and only periodic neck pain when I haven’t done the exercises he taught me. I feel empowered that I can now do something to help myself! Recieving care from Dr. Oliver, who is both skilled and friendly, has been life changing for me. I originally visited Integrative Medical for issues I was having with my back. After 3 sessions I felt the staff was just throwing me on a massage bed and had me do silly excericises similar to what I did in elementary school for stretches. I had explained my issues to a friend and she recommended me to try out Dr. Oliver. From the minute I walked in Dr. Oliver’s Office, I felt the staff seemed more professional. Dr. Oliver had up to date X-ray equipment that was more detailed oriented. He explained and showed more details to what was my problem with my back than what I got from Integrative Medical. Dr. Oliver would pop my neck and back into place, had me do more challenging excersises that actually strengthened my back, and had more state of the art equipment to treat people with. Needless to say, I left Integrative Medical to continue and complete my 30 sessions with Dr. Oliver. I felt more welcomed as well as more confident in what I was getting from Dr. Oliver than Integrative Medical. I would reccommend Dr. Oliver to any of my personal friends and family.
